Sweet Tea started as a foster with me. He was being treated for medical conditions and could not be the puppy he wanted to be due to exercise limitations and social distancing due to his contagious illness.
Sweet Tea struggled with living in a new home at first. It was clear he wasn’t familiar with a home environment and was afraid of running water like flushing toilets.
After some time, we found our groove and Jasper has been a happy pup living in the city.
After several months and visits to Toronto Humane Society, I was able to adopt him. I decided to name him Jasper.
Jasper is my first dog and I’m so happy we found each other. Some might say he’s a rescue, but he rescued me during a challenging time in my life.
