We adopted Nova (Duchess) one year ago on March 25th and we are all over the moon in love with her, Nova has been a perfect match for us.

She has done really well and fits into our family perfectly, she is well loved by her whole family but also by our neighbours who adore her. Nova knows that she can throw her charm and convince strangers that she needs scratches and they usually oblige.

Nova has gone on three road trips across Ontario to her house in Northwestern Ontario, and at first it was a little scary but she loves going to camp and getting to be on her own personal island.

She is a social butterfly at the dog park, Nova loves to run and plays so well with other dogs. Dog owners specifically want their dogs to play with her because she runs fast and is a good solution for their dog to run it out.

Nova has an older brother named Archer who wasn’t sure if he liked her abundance of energy at first, but now he adores her.

In the past year we have worked on basic training together, and again Nova has excelled beyond my expectations.

Nova has been an absolute perfect match for our family, and we all are over-the-moon with her and are so thankful that Toronto Humane Society helped us find this little angel.
