Just wanted you to know that Merry and Pippin (formerly Bubble and Squeak) the two rats we adopted last year, are doing really well.

They love their cage, they love hay and fleece and chewing on cardboard, and eating spinach and orange peppers. Pippin loves to climb out and hang around on our shoulders, Merry wants that less, but even he’s been known to come out and see what’s going on occasionally.

I’ve always loved rats, but my wife was less sure, however she’s entirely converted and has them in her office now!
