Mr. Cheeks

Happy Tails

I’m the proud adopter of Mr. Cheeks (formerly Swang) who came home with me on May 2nd of last year.

When I adopted Cheeks, I was told that he was very anxious and not much into playing. This little boy has really come out of his shell! He is super playful and curious, although still a bit of a chicken. We go for a hallway walk every morning and he’s gaining confidence. My loft is like a jungle gym for him, and I’ve learned that cats can climb ladders!

He is so sweet and makes sure that he rubs up against my arm when I’m putting his food down, like he’s saying thank you. He loves to “help” me with my home workouts and entertains my colleagues during zoom meetings.

He had his top two teeth removed at Toronto Humane Society before I brought him home, and his top lip gets stuck behind his bottom teeth. It doesn’t seem to bother him, and it gives him even more character!

I feel like the luckiest person to have found Cheeks and I cannot thank you enough for bringing him into my life and making the process so smooth and easy, despite all the pressures you guys have been under with COVID. I know you guys asked to send one picture, but it was honestly not possible to pick one (or two, or three…). He’s pretty adorable!

Thank you again so much. I am forever grateful.
