Ozzie was a beautiful yellow lab. He had light yellow fur and big deep brown eyes.
When he came to Toronto Humane Society, he had a massive skin infection all around his neck and he had difficulty walking. The vets at Toronto Humane Society cleared up his skin infection and prescribed synthetic opioid medication to help Ozzie walk.
It was springtime when we adopted him, and we were told he might live through the summer. But, in fact, he lived for eleven months. Everyone in the neighbourhood loved him. When we went for a walk, neighbours came out with a bowl of water, treats, and pats for Ozzie. The end of Ozzie’s life was full of love and comfort.
