Help More Pets Like Chui Get Their Second Chance

| May 27, 2021

Chui is a highly affectionate, orange Tabby who enjoys endless belly rubs, head scratches, and cuddles.

He loves treats – maybe a little bit too much because he’s on the heavier side – but he loves his people even more. He currently spends his days shadowing his Foster Parent, snuggling up on the couch, and flopping onto his back for full body rubs. This boy is full of love – even after his life-changing surgery.

During Chui’s initial exam, there was concern about his left eye being a little blurry. After further examination from our veterinarians, Chui was diagnosed with a Corneal Ulcer. This is a painful condition in which the deepest layers of the cat’s cornea are damaged. To relieve his pain, and to help give Chui the best quality of life, his left eye was removed.

Despite his missing eye, Chui has remained true to himself – a snuggly, social butterfly who wins people over with his loud purrs and love for scratches. He is the type of boy who makes the most out of any situation.

Your donation of $20, $50, or $100 can help care for loving animals, like Chui, who enter our care with so much love to give. They deserve a second chance.

Thanks to loving support from animal lovers like you, Chui is currently in the process of being adopted and spending every moment of time with his new family. With your help, we can improve the lives of animals and help them find a loving home too.

Update: Chui has been adopted.
