Angelo

| October 26, 2022

When Angelo was surrendered to Toronto Humane Society our staff noted that he had moderate dental disease and was overweight but otherwise healthy.

Our team put together a plan to help Angelo reduce weight which included special food and a weekly weigh-in check-up, but Angelo was stressed, likely because of the new environment, and he stopped eating.  He was started on medication to help his appetite, which worked but then Angelo became constipated. Poor Angelo. He was then started on a gentle laxative to help with this new issue.

Within a few days Angelo was back to normal, with no issues eating or going to the bathroom. Once he was medically cleared, Angelo was adopted.
