Lana is a charming red Chow mix who was abandoned by her owners. She is the definition of friendly and playful, though has some struggles with reactivity and can get quite anxious.

Without knowing an animal’s past, we need to rely on interactions and observations of our staff and volunteers to piece together what emotional issues an animal may be dealing with and what they need to feel safe, cared for, and happy.  Our behavioural team and volunteers, including foster parents, are working closely with Lana to overcome her issues, and she is showing good progress.

With her endearing personality and affectionate nature, Lana is sure to bring warmth and happiness to any home lucky enough to have her.
