Tobias
Tobias
Meet Tobias, 3-year-old American Shorthair cat with a charmingly energetic personality and a deep love for human companionship. He was adopted alongside another cat from the same litter, Tobias has grown into a curious, outgoing, and affectionate cat who truly thrives when he's around people. Whether you're working from home, relaxing with a book, or simply going about your day, Tobias sometimes can be either looking for your attention to either engage, cuddle, or simply observe.
He does best in environments where he's not left alone for long stretches of time. He has never experienced solitude and greatly depends on human presence for emotional comfort. Because of his strong need for interaction and stimulation, he would be an ideal companion for someone who spends a lot of time at home or is looking for a buddy to share daily routines with.
Due to his dominant and spirited play style, Tobias needs to be the only pet in the household. He does not do well in multi-pet environments, especially with more sensitive animals. He's best suited to a home where he can be the center of attention and receive the one-on-one care he deserves.
Tobias also has a specific health requirement; he has a urinary crystal condition that requires him to stay on a veterinary-prescribed urinary care diet. His food needs to be mixed with water, and he must always have fresh water available. Additionally, he has a gluttonous appetite and can gain weight easily, so it's important to keep him on a controlled feeding schedule with measured portions. His condition is well-managed with the proper diet and routine, and with these in place, Tobias continues to live a playful and happy life.
If you're looking for a loyal, loving, and interactive companion who will bring life and warmth to your home, Tobias could be the perfect fit. He's ready to find a stable, affectionate home where he can truly shine.
Two fun facts about him; He loves to play fetch, chasing and returning anything you toss, especially a crumpled ball of foil (just the sound of it excites him). He's also a pro at opening doors, especially handles or easy to pull, so it's best to cat-proof or let him stay in the room with you, which he prefers anyway.
