Rex

Rex is a 2½-month-old puppy who has already travelled a long way to get here and is ready to find a home to call his own. City life can be a big adjustment, so he'll need an adopter who understands the importance of teaching a young dog to relax, enjoy downtime, and build confidence in new environments.

Rex has many sides to his personality. He can be shy, low-key, and cuddly when he's feeling uncertain, but once he's comfortable, his playful puppy energy takes over! Like many pups his age, Rex is still learning that people aren't for nibbling-so he'll need guidance, structure, and positive training to help him channel that energy into polite play.

Rex would thrive in a home with a calm, well-socialized adult dog, or with opportunities for regular play sessions with a few familiar dog friends who are a good match for his energy level and play style. He'll do best learning from confident, gentle dogs who can show him the ropes and help him burn off puppy energy safely. Dog parks aren't the right fit for him at this stage-he'll benefit much more from planned, positive interactions with dogs you know and trust.

He'd do best in a home without small children, but could be a great match for a family with older kids who understand how to interact with dogs respectfully and help him practice calm behaviour.
