The happiest news in our life these days is our recently adopted Chase.

When we went to Toronto Humane Society to meet him, we knew pretty much right away that he was the dog for us. It’s still a process, but so far, so good. He’s still hesitant but we know he loves scratches on his velvety forehead.

He loves the snow and just like the foster said, he’s a different dog outside. The harsher the wind and snow, the happier he is. He’s got a lot of puppy in him.

He’s incredibly respectful and has soft quick kisses when we extend a hand, or a forehead.

He surprises us all the time. Last week we discovered that he can catch a treat out of the air like a frog catching a fly. He tracks it so intently, and just when you think it’s lost to the ground, he grabs it as if he’s vacuuming it up.

His foster gave us his dog blanket which has been a good homebase for him.

Thank you so much to the team that helped him to find us. We are so grateful for their professionalism and care for his wellbeing. He is 100% the right boy for us.
