Pet of the Week – Jade

Being an older girl with diabetes, Jade likes to take things slow. She’s an incredibly social girl who loves exploring and making new friends, it’s just that she doesn’t quite have the energy she used to have. Fun, yet slow paced walks and play dates are what she likes!

Jade loves everyone under the sun. She loves meeting new people, and is always excited to get a head rub from both stranger and friend alike! She’s the kind of gal who’s lived long enough to appreciate the small things in life. She likes to smell the roses on her walks and listen to the rain patter against the windows on her bed!

She’s currently living in a loving foster home, but is hoping to find a more permanent set up with a big comfy couch where she can spend the rest of her days! Jade loves everyone, including children. She’d only ask they appreciate her older age and health condition. A calm, quiet home on the mature side is her dream. If there are any other pets in the home, she would really appreciate meeting them before she commits to anything! Affectionate beyond belief, she’s the sweetest girl looking for the ultimate retirement home!
