Aroma arrived with five tiny, one-month-old kittens depending on her: Cumin, Cardamom, Cayenne, Paprika and Turmeric.

Despite the challenges of raising such a young family, Aroma proved to be a wonderful mom.

To give them the best start in life, Aroma and her kittens were placed together in a loving foster home. Keeping kittens with their mother during their early weeks is incredibly important — they learn essential social skills and gain confidence while continuing to nurse and grow.

In foster care, the kittens thrived under Aroma and their foster parents’ watchful eyes. They stayed with their foster family until they were old enough to eat solid food, receive their vaccines, and undergo their spay and neuter surgeries.

We’re happy to share that Aroma and all five of her kittens have now been adopted into loving homes.
