I’m writing to give a quick update on Blair and how he’s settling into his new home. We prepared a sanctuary room for him as per the Toronto Humane Society’s instructions, but Blair did not seem to need it at all! He’s a very friendly, curious kitty, and did not wait at all before exploring the apartment and sniffing every single corner and object he came across.
We were warned that he bit and scratched his previous owners to the point of drawing blood, but we’re very happy to report that he has not been aggressive at all. He’s the sweetest kitty cat and loves headbutting us for pets, pawing at us (without claws!) for brushes, and has even started to snuggle with us in bed and on the couch a little bit. When he’s more high energy, he loves his feather toys, the cat dancer toy, and also gets the zoomies twice a day and invites us to chase him around the apartment. He is so much fun to play with, and we adore having him in the home.
We are so grateful for the care you gave to Blair when he was at the shelter. Thank you again to all of you for your friendliness, kindness, and all the love you give to the animals in Toronto!
