I wanted to update you on how things are going with Leela in our first month together.

She settled right in and immediately found the best spots for scoping out the neighborhood squirrels. Leela is super excited to interact with Ash, our kitty. She LOVES going for walks in the neighborhood and really loves meeting people and other dogs. We start a training class next week but she has already perfected sit, down (to lay down) and offering up her paws after going outside to get cleaned up. Leela is a super-intelligent, extra-loveable snuggle bug and has helped us heal our hearts after losing our beloved cat earlier in the fall – a Toronto Humane Society alumni from 20 years ago.
