We wanted to share an update on our sweet bunny Oliver, formerly known as Juji, whom we adopted from Toronto Humane Society in April of last year.
When we first brought him home, we were told that Ollie might be nervous at first — but to our surprise, he was the complete opposite! From the moment he arrived, he was eager to meet us and absolutely bursting with excitement, especially when he saw his lady, Mable.
Ollie would “honk” nonstop and thump with joy — he simply couldn’t contain how thrilled he was to meet her. Mable, on the other hand, played it cool at first. During bonding sessions, she would tease him from behind the barriers we set up, keeping him on his toes.
But with time, patience, and plenty of Ollie’s affection, Mable warmed up. Now, they’re inseparable. They cuddle, groom each other, and do everything together. In fact, Mable has grown so attached to Ollie that she gets visibly sad when they’re apart. He’s become her source of comfort, and they rely on each other so deeply.
Thank you for bringing Ollie into our lives. He’s brought so much love and joy not just to Mable, but to our whole home.
