I wanted to share with Toronto Humane Society and beyond on my adoption from 2016 so they can know how a cat in their care is doing 10 years after adoption. I adopted Willy (my name for him, formally known as Scottie) in 2016. I went there specifically to adopt a senior, hard-to-adopt case. Willy is a senior, FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus), black cat with skin issues. He has been my joy since the day I brought him home. I knew he’d need extra care, but him being FIV has never been an issue and he has been living a good, safe life.
I wanted to let Toronto Humane Society know that their cat is safe, doing very well, and living his best life, and I have been honoured to be his mom. He’s my sweet boy.
