I adopted Ophelia (formerly Nunny) in mid-November. I was going to wait until after the holiday season to adopt, but I’m so glad I didn’t wait. She’s absolutely perfect.
She took no time to adjust to her new home. She welcomed pets within the first hour and has been so patient through nail trims and the terrifying sounds of the washing machine.
Toronto Humane Society wasn’t sure how receptive she’d be to playing or pets. Naturally, she now demands both, all day long.
Ophelia spends her time chasing her worm-on-a-string toy and playing with anything featuring a toy ball. She loves her treat puzzle feeder, napping in a closet drawer of old t-shirts, and being brushed before bed.
Ophelia is thrilled now that my classes are online. It only took a day before she stood in front of the camera while I spoke and stole the entire show.
I can’t imagine my life without her waking me up at 5:00am for breakfast and attacking my feet under the covers. She is the sweetest, friendliest girl. Thank you to the employees who were so patient and helpful with finding the perfect cat for me. She makes my days so much brighter.
