Meet Tula, she is a mix of 7 beautiful breeds (Husky, Elkhound, German Shepherd, English Springer Spaniel, Akita, Lab, and Pug) accord to her DNA results.  She comes from Bearskin Lake Manitoba.

My husband and I always wanted to adopt. He wanted to surprise me and put in an application. We waited and then the email came that there was a 3 1/2-month-old puppy that needed a home. We jumped with joy for the opportunity!

We adopted Tula on September 25, 2020. When she walked out of Toronto Humane Society’s doors, I knelt down and she licked my face, it was absolutely love at first sight. My husband and I drove home and invited our family over so they can meet our new bundle of joy.

She is the most precious little angel anyone could ask for. She is gentle, kind, loving and sweet to everyone. She is a gentle soul for a dog her size. She has such personality with her woo woo’s and tail wags, it’s impossible not to fall in love with her.

She has changed all our lives for the better. She rescued us as much as we rescued her. She brings so much joy into our daily lives, into the lives of our family members, and even people who pass by her in cars smile at her beautiful face.  We’re very blessed that she chose us for her family, and we are forever grateful to Toronto Humane Society for making the connection.

We believe in adoption and not shopping for a pet. So many amazing animals are in need of loving homes, and we could all make a difference!
