Louie was transported to Toronto Humane Society from another animal welfare organization in Georgia.

Before his arrival in Canada, Louie had been successfully treated for heartworm and adopted, but four months later Louie was found abandoned. When contacted, his owners didn’t want him back and Louie was returned to the shelter in Georgia. Happily, Louie made the transport list for Toronto Humane Society.

At Toronto Humane Society, we found Louie to be in very good health although he did need surgery to repair a belly-button hernia.

Our behaviour staff found him very friendly and curious.

Louie has been adopted and is living his best life!
