Willy, an 8-month-old shepherd mix, was transferred to Toronto Humane with an abnormal gait and his tail hung low. During the medical intake examination, it was determined that Willy had suffered a pelvic fracture.
X-rays were done on Willy’s lower extremities which showed the fracture was already healing. Willy began a rehabilitation program to strengthen the muscles that had either been over-used or under-used because of this injury, and to correct his gait.
During his neuter surgery Willy had a small mass on his left eyelid removed so it wouldn’t cause issues later. Willy will remain in our care until his medical concerns clear up and he can be made available for adoption!
