Called “Toronto’s Best Dog Event of the Summer” by BlogTO, Paws in the Park is taking place tomorrow, August 6th at Woodbine Park from 9:00am – 4:00pm. We can’t wait to see you there!
There will be tons of activities that the entire family can enjoy. The event kicks off with a Saturday Swings fitness class by All Day Fit at 9:00am. Saturday Swings consists of a variety of kettlebell movements that will improve your strength and power and is great for all fitness levels. Buy your tickets for the class, with proceeds going to Toronto Humane Society.
If you’re more interested in shopping, the Vendor Marketplace also opens at 9:00am where you can grab toys and treats for your pup and yourself.
At 10:00am the fundraising Pup Walk begins and the Silent Auction and Photo Booth opens where you can pose with your fur-friend with adorable props. Digital copies of your photos will be emailed to you for easy sharing.
You can also grab a pint of beer or two from the dog-friendly Black Lab Brewing beverage garden after 11:00am.
There will also, of course, be snacks and non-alcoholic refreshments for dogs and humans, too, as well as lawn games and a kid’s zone full of arts and crafts, scavenger hunts, face painting and more.
There are tons of activities for the pups too. They can participate in dog training demos with their pet parents, splash around in a pup pool, join the doggy fashion show, and enjoy food from the Bark n’ Bakery, a food truck just for dogs!
There are tons of fun activities for everyone! Click here to see our virtual map with a full event schedule, list of vendors, activities and more.
Come on down to Woodbine Park on August 6th and unleash your inner pup!
Paws in the Park is Toronto Humane Society’s largest fundraising event. Your participation and attendance will help us to continue to operate as a world-class animal welfare organization. This means finding more forever homes, mending more paws, and helping more pets stay with their families by means of our community service programs.
