Booboo's full story:

Booboo's journey is a bit of a mystery-she was found as a stray in Toronto, but somehow, this Texas girl made her way north. While we don't know much about her past, we do know one thing for sure: she has completely stolen the hearts of our staff and volunteers.

Booboo is an affectionate, adventurous, and intelligent pup who thrives on routine. She's a fantastic hiking buddy, but she's equally happy curling up for a cozy snuggle session. While she absolutely loves human company, she also appreciates her alone time to recharge-because self-care is important, even for dogs!

She does show some signs of stress, like tail chasing, but she's made incredible progress at the shelter, and we know she'll continue to thrive in the right home. With consistency and patience, she'll settle into her new life beautifully.

Did we mention she's incredibly smart? Booboo is a training superstar who's already mastered sit, down, and paw-especially when treats are involved. We think she'd excel in all kinds of training, from agility to tricks to scent work.

What Booboo needs most is a committed adopter who will help her through the transition into her new home. Change can be scary, but with patience, structure, love and the right person by her side, she's sure to become the ultimate rescue success story.
