Meet Fable - The Cat with Big Feelings and an Even Bigger Comeback Story
Hi, I'm Fable - yes, like a story with a moral at the end. And trust me, I've learned a lot lately.
So here's the part of my story that everyone whispers about: I had a rough day once (okay... maybe twice). I went to this scary place with weird smells, bright lights, and strangers poking at me (humans call it the veterinarian). I was polite to them-honest!-but inside, I was experiencing Olympic-level panic. When I got home, I was still in shock. My mind kept replaying the whole day, and the stress was bubbling over. I couldn't yell at the vet, so... I took it out on my person. Was it my proudest moment? No. Did I mean it? Probably not. But it happened, and I'm learning not to let my emotions boss me around again.
Now I'm ready for my next chapter with someone who understands that cats-like people-have good days, bad days, and the occasional "wish I could take that back" moment. Here's what helps me be my best self:
1. A quiet "decompression zone" to help me settle in and anytime life gets stressful, such as after vet visits. A cozy room with her litterbox, food, and comfy nap spots.
2. Medication has been a game changer for me so I hope my future people will continue to support me with it.
In return, I offer: dramatic storytelling, curiosity, cuddles (once I trust you), and a heart full of love, bravery, and character growth. I'm basically the heroine of a novel, but fluffier.
Every great fable has a challenge... and a happy ending.
