Huey
Huey
Huey and Duey are a bright, inquisitive duo who are growing more confident every day. These bonded boys enjoy exploring their space, checking out anything new, and observing the world with that signature rat curiosity. During a recent cage cleaning, they were clearly fascinated by all the activity, coming close to investigate while still keeping a little comfortable distance. Their interest in people is blossoming, and one even leaned in for gentle pets, showing just how much potential they have as companions.
Duey is the most outgoing of the duo, often the first to step forward and see what's happening. He's a busy little adventurer who happily climbs around when given the chance. Huey is a bit more reserved, but they're settling in well and showing steady progress as they learn that humans bring good things-like fresh treats. Both were delighted to nibble on small pieces of apple, a simple joy that highlights their sweet nature and growing trust.
This duo would thrive with someone who enjoys watching animals think, explore, and interact at their own pace. With patience, gentle handling, and a consistent routine, Huey and Duey are sure to continue opening up and showing more of their charming personalities. They're ready to bring curiosity, companionship, and plenty of entertainment to a home that appreciates the unique bond of a rat duo.
