Hitchcock

Meet Hitchcock, a 2-month-old kitten with a gentle heart and a thoughtful, observant nature. Hitchcock is the kind of kitten who likes to take in his surroundings before jumping right in, and his quiet confidence grows beautifully once he feels safe and encouraged.

At first, Hitchcock can be a little shy, often choosing a cozy spot to watch the action from one side of his space. He carefully tracks wand toys with his eyes and, with a bit of enticing, will come out to play and explore. When he does, you'll see his playful side emerge in a tentative but curious way, showing that he wants to engage-he just prefers to do it at his own pace.

Hitchcock truly shines during calm, patient interactions. He enjoys gentle attention and communicates his comfort with long, relaxed blinks and soft, closed eyes. While he may initially be cautious about hands, he responds well to slower introductions, warming up steadily as trust builds. Using toys or a back scratcher helped him relax, and by the end of his session he was leaning into petting, lifting his chin, and even pushing into the touch-a wonderful sign of growing confidence. With time, he was happy to accept head and neck pets directly, clearly enjoying the connection.

A little catnip was the final encouragement that brought Hitchcock fully out of his shell, inspiring him to eat a bit and welcome even more affection. It's easy to see that beneath his shy exterior is a sweet, affectionate kitten who just needs patience and kindness to feel comfortable.

Hitchcock would do best with someone who understands that not every kitten is instantly bold, and who will enjoy watching him blossom day by day. For a person or family who values gentle moments, quiet bonding, and the joy of earning a kitten's trust, Hitchcock is a truly special little companion.
