She's also been working on skills like "place," "wait," and "touch," showing curiosity and persistence as she learns. Handling exercises, including gentle work around her paws and legs, have gone smoothly - she remains calm, cooperative, and trusting.

On walks, Mabel is a happy and excited companion. She may pull a bit at first, especially when she's eager to get going, but she settles nicely once outside and walks calmly. She has shown no interest in other dogs during outings, choosing instead to focus on her walk and her person. One thing to know about Mabel: she's not a fan of snow or slush and prefers shorter outings in cold, wet conditions. In more comfortable weather, she's content and relaxed.

Mabel has a lovely balance of enthusiasm and composure. She can be excited and a bit jumpy at the start of an activity, then quickly settles into her calm, gentle self. Indoors and out, she's affectionate, attentive, and easy to enjoy.
