Clair
Clair
Clair is a young, energetic dog who is ready for her next chapter in life. With time, patience and treats, she can do just about anything! She is naturally friendly with people but can be nervous around loud, busy environments.
Clair loves to play and would be thrilled to have a family continue introducing her to fun games involving chasing toys - while helping her learn the "bringing them back" part! She also loves walks. She may be excited and pull at first, but she has been steadily improving, especially when she gets to walk with the same person a few times.
Clair is still learning her foundational cues, but she truly enjoys practicing with someone familiar. It is very sweet to watch her confidence grow as she earns treats and praise for figuring out what is being asked of her.
Clair naturally enjoys affection from her people. She loves cuddles and giving kisses! Her family should take the time to learn when she is asking for affection such as leaning into them or lying beside them, and when she may be showing nervous excitement, such as putting her paws up on a new but friendly person who wants to say hello.
Clair has shown positive and enthusiastic interest in other dogs and enjoys playing with them. She would do best with a dog who can match her size and energy while helping her learn some play manners, including taking breaks and taking turns chasing each other.
