Meet Truman - a 2-year-old tuxedo with a big heart and a very important royal rule: he'd like to be the king of his castle. ????

Truman is a loving, affectionate, playful, and wonderfully vocal guy who enjoys ALL the attention once he knows you. He's great with kids, tolerates dogs, and while he can be nervous around other cats, he truly shines when he has his humans all to himself.

New people? Truman prefers the "I'll be hiding until I have assessed the situation" approach. ?? Give him some time and patience, and he'll eventually emerge when he's ready - and once he warms up, his playful and affectionate personality comes out in full force.

Shelter life has been especially scary for this sweet boy, so he's understandably not showing his best self right now. ?? He would love a calm, patient home where he can decompress, feel safe, and become the confident, loving cat he is underneath all that nervousness.

Because he can become quite stressed around other cats, we'd gently recommend Truman as your one-and-only feline king. ??His crown may be a little crooked, but his heart is absolutely enormous. ??
