To'Mally
To'Mally
At 5 years old, To'Mally is a big boy with an even bigger heart - and we have a feeling that once he gets home, comfortable, and settled, his goofy side is going to shine.
The shelter environment was simply a lot for To'Mally at first. He was understandably very scared and overwhelmed, but he's slowly beginning to warm up. We've learned that the best way to win him over is to slow things down and let To'Mally set the pace. Give him a little time, a little patience, and a little reassurance, and you'll start to see the wonderful cat underneath those shelter nerves.
And what a wonderful cat he is!
To'Mally has been described as friendly, affectionate, outgoing, playful, and a lap cat. He enjoys most handling and, once he feels secure, loves being around his people. He's also wonderfully low-maintenance - the kind of companion who can happily hang out with you and make himself at home.
He's a substantial boy, too, and we can't help but imagine that once he's lounging on a couch, playing with his favourite toy, or attempting to squeeze himself into a spot that is clearly much too small for him, we'll discover that he's actually a total goofball. ??
To'Mally doesn't need someone to rush him. He needs someone who will look past the frightened shelter cat and see the sweet, affectionate boy he's becoming.
Sometimes the cats who need a little extra patience are the ones who make the most wonderful companions. Give To'Mally the chance to decompress, show him that home is a safe place, and let him discover his confidence in his own time.
There is a big, silly, loving personality waiting in there.
He just needs someone willing to wait for it to come out. ??
Could you be the person who gives To'Mally the time, patience, and loving home he needs to finally be himself?
