Just wanted to let you know that Cody (formerly Tracker), the Coonhound, we adopted on February 26th, is doing great.

He is my constant companion, but adores our son, and thinks my husband is the alpha.

We walk four times a day, and he loves the snow. Every time he meets someone, they say what a gorgeous, sweet, and gentle dog he is. We are quick to mention he’s from your shelter.

Our vet checked him all over the first week and said he looked great and what a great job you all did getting him healthy and treating him. We all agree. His Giargia is his only issue, although our vet tested him and he was negative, we are giving him more meds to make sure clear per our vet.

We are amazed about how smart and quick he learns and retains information. He is a great walker, thanks to you, and he knows how to sit, come, stay, down, paw, leave it, give, and fetches. He are still working on jumping up for greets.

Cody has been a welcoming addition to our family, and we are doing everything we can to ensure he is healthy and happy. He is all that we had hoped in a dog and more.

Thank you once again for trusting us and letting us bring him into our family.
