It has been a few weeks since Miss Fluffy has arrived in her forever home. She says hello to all of you!

She is a beautiful creature. Her disposition is exactly what I had hoped and prayed for. Her colors continue to mesmerize and surprise me as she explores her domain.

She loves to sit in the sun, take long naps on the couch, snuggle, and she really loves eating dry cat food.

I’ve had to hide anything that resembles string – even my mop!

I can’t even begin to express how grateful I am to everyone who helped Miss. Fluffy come to me. Everywhere I go she walks near me. I call to her, and she sits with me, listening to my heart as I pet and brush her.

At night she sleeps above my head to keep my dreams happy.

What this has done for me, is relief. It has relieved the constant ominous sense of lonesomeness that I have felt in this city as a senior. When I am out, I have a being to come home to that is happy to see me. When I am home, I have a being I love to care for, and she loves me and cares for me as well.

My mental health is better. l always sensed I needed a fur friend to feel better. My whole sense of the world around me is better since Miss. Fluffy came into my life. It is so healing to not feel so very and completely alone on this planet. I promise to always care for her well.
