Just as it’s been one year since Calypso and Roy joined me, I thought I’d give you an update.

They are doing so well. Roy is such a chipper guy. He’s the most playful cat I’ve ever met and makes everyone around him happy. Everyone who meets him is entirely charmed because he’s such a lovely, lovely little man. His favourite perch is keeping watch of the backyard, though he is always happy to share the spot with his brother.

Cal continues to thrive. He’s playful, confident, happy, and so so very affectionate. He even had his first vet visit and it went very well! Claire’s guidance on how to prep for vet visits was incredibly helpful. He was alert but relaxed going into his carrier and travelling (it’s a short walk, admittedly) to the vet and even being in a strange room with a strange person! Afterwards, he settled right back into his routine without a hitch. Very proud of him!

Once again, thanks so much for everything Toronto Humane Society did for Calypso and Roy. I can’t imagine my life without them!
