I’d like to share our adoption story about Lunar (now Suki). She was an unwell young cat who was held at Toronto Humane Society for over a month in May, getting her ear infection under control. I’m sure many volunteers and staff remember her.
Well we finally got her home and she’s fitting right in, especially with our other two cats. She’s coming out of her shell each day and has found her spot on the window ledge sunning herself. She’s still learning to cat (we don’t know her history, perhaps she was a stray), so watching her navigate stairs was funny to watch and while we’re waiting for snuggles, we’re patient and looking forward to her growing with us.
Her now glossy coat and loud purrs confirms her contentment.
