We adopted Zazu shortly after our senior cat passed away. We have another 1-year-old cat (Casper) and the loss of his brother was weighing heavily on him.
Zazu was affectionate with us from the beginning. On night one he basically slept on my lap. The process to introduce Zazu and Casper was slow. At first, they didn’t really care for each other. There’s was lots of hissing but thankfully no fighting.
Gradually they started getting along and now they’re friends. We’re happy to have him as part of our family.
