I adopted Avery (formerly Nala) mid December 2020. She has been one of the best dogs. I love watching her gain confidence as she gets introduced to new people and new environments.
She has recently graduated from basic obedience! She did absolutely amazing! She was one of the best-behaved dogs. I originally signed her up for classes to help improve her leash reactivity and to get her more comfortable with strangers. Her recall was perfect along with her heeling. She just started her intermediate classes and is doing great. She is always so happy to go to classes and has even started to bond with the trainers.
As a vet tech, I always have different animals coming and going in my home, as I occasionally foster. She has always done amazing with them. Avery and O’Malley have become inseparable. The cats even like cuddling with her. Avery has met my 2-year-old niece and was so gentle and calm with her.
Thank you for giving me my new best friend.
