Ada came all the way from South Carolina to Toronto to find her forever home. 

Once in our care, Ada tested positive for heartworm. Treatment for heartworm is extensive and tough on dogs, but Ada responded exceptionally well to her treatments and is well on her way to becoming heartworm-free while comfortably receiving treatment in a foster home. 

With her sweet and easygoing demeanor, Ada is already on hold for adoption.
