Augustus, a sweet but shy, five-year old, was transferred to Toronto Humane Society from a rescue in Texas.
As Augustus came from an area with a high heartworm risk, he was tested for heartworm and, happily, found negative.
Our behaviour team did an in-depth evaluation of Augustus and although he is a shy dog, he is friendly with other dogs.
Augustus has an adoption pending.
