Join Toronto Humane Society’s Paws in the Park® Event Presented by Amazon for A Day of Fun and Fundraising
TORONTO, ON. – September 17, 2024 – Toronto Humane Society’s signature fundraising event, Paws in the Park® Presented by Amazon, is making a grand return on Saturday, September 21, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at 11 River Street. Back with a full lineup of exciting activities, the event promises a day filled with family fun, pet-friendly experiences, and a clear goal: to support Toronto Humane Society’s lifesaving work for animals in need.
“Paws in the Park® Presented by Amazon has been a cornerstone of our fundraising efforts, and this year, it’s even more crucial as the demand for our services continues to grow,” said CEO Phil Nichols of Toronto Humane Society. “We rely on this event to fund our essential programs like Urgent Care, Community Pet Support, Pet Parent Support Network and Adoption Services. By attending, our community can make a tangible difference in the lives of animals who need it the most.”
Guests will enjoy the return of some fan-favourite attractions, including a vendor marketplace, facility tours featuring animals available for adoption, and plenty of family-friendly activities including face painting, an Agility training course lead by Toronto Humane Society certified trainer Claire Blumenthal, a paw print station, bring your own dog yoga session, a dog fashion show, photobooth, flash tattoos, prize draw table and online raffle.
But there’s more: the day will also include an exclusive 19+ Beer Garden sponsored by Black Lab Brewing, where attendees can sip on a limited-edition THS Dortmunder brew with a rooibos tea twist. Enjoy this special brew while knowing that every pint poured supports the lifesaving work of Toronto Humane Society.
The 2024 event will be hosted by Nicole Servinis, a well-known face in Toronto’s media landscape. With nearly a decade of experience in lifestyle and entertainment journalism, Nicole’s energy and passion for animal welfare are sure to make this event one to remember. Nicole currently hosts Things to Know in T.O. on CP24 and CTV, in addition to producing hosted segments for Corus Entertainment.
Paws in the Park® Presented by Amazon will feature a vibrant vendor marketplace, showcasing local businesses with an array of pet products, treats, and unique goods. Attendees can also look forward to tours of Toronto Humane Society which allows visitors the chance to meet adoptable animals.
