Do you already work with dogs and dream of leading your own training classes? Toronto Humane Society’s Certified Dog Training Instructor Program is your chance to make it happen! 

This 23-week, in-person course is designed for experienced dog lovers who want to take the next step in their careers. Whether you work in a shelter, daycare, walking service, or are already training dogs one-on-one, this program will help you: 

• Build your teaching skills 
• Gain confidence as a group class leader 
• Learn compassionate, science-based training techniques 
• Earn continuing education credits (24 CCPDT CEUs for trainers and 6 CEUs for behaviour consultants ) 

By graduation, you’ll be ready to lead training classes and help dogs—and their people—learn, grow, and thrive together.

• Small cohort: Only 10 students 
• Tuition: $3,000
