What is National Cupcake Day?   

National Cupcake Day is a nation-wide fundraiser supporting participating SPCA’s, humane societies and rescue groups across Canada. Animal lovers bake for friends, family, coworkers or classmates to raise money and spread awareness for animals in need.   

This year, the day falls on Monday, February 28th! You can find out more about National Cupcake Day here.   

Unfortunately, we won’t be seeing you or your beautiful cupcakes in person this year. Instead, we will be baking our buns off virtually! Join us in baking a difference by signing up as an individual, starting a team, or joining a team.  

Or better yet, you can join our team!  

If you aren’t interested in baking but still want to support animals, no worries. Two wonderful participating  bakeries are selling cupcakes from their locations with proceeds directly supporting animals in our care.

Tori’s Bakeshop    

Tori’s Bakeshop opened in March 2012 as Toronto’s first plant-based cafe, baking fresh daily goodies with natural, organic, seasonal ingredients, sourced as locally as possible.    

Hype Food Co.    

Hype Food Co. is an allergy-aware  casual restaurant and bakery that is also nut-free. Our kitchen is free from gluten and priority allergens (peanuts, tree-nuts, wheat, dairy, eggs, soy, sesame, fish, crustaceans and molluscs).
