I wanted to give an update on Char, whom we adopted from Toronto Humane Society 12 years ago (Char is now 15 years old!), last month. She’s still awesome and has come to be our very best pal and family member. She is elderly now and sleeps a bit more, has a cataract in one eye, is basically fully deaf, and has had many teeth extracted over the years (small dog!). But she’s so happy and overall very healthy, with great muscle tone, and still lots of spunk. She loves her walks and sunbathing. I am not sure if you keep track of the foster-to-adoption successes, but Char is the best, and we love her so! I always think I should update you all every few years. Photo of her enjoying a sunbeam (and in need of a haircut!). We moved out of Toronto about 8 years ago, and she’s been loving her small-town life.
