Happy Tails Presented by Royale: Calypso and Roy

Happy Tails

I thought I’d update you about Calypso and Roy. Roy is, of course, doing phenomenally. He never ceases to amaze me with how sweet and gentle he is. He is such a lovely and outgoing boy and continues to really enjoy having the run of the house, especially for zoomies! One of his favourite places is sitting on the back of the sofa looking out the window (and playing peek-a-boo behind the curtain in the evenings).

Calypso is also doing incredibly well. He’s been improving an amazing amount. He is now completely comfortable with me being in his space, even just climbing right up onto the bed next to him, which is his safe space. He is still somewhat wary of being petted (he tells me “no thank you” very politely, though, with a pointed meow, no hisses or growls for that!) although he does not mind me gently stroking his paw when he reaches out and puts it in my hand or on my arm. But I think he will enjoy it as he continues to settle in, because his very soft side is not so slowly being revealed. In fact, he will now come cuddle up against me or on my lap, which made me cry tears of joy the first time it happened! :’)
