My partner and I are delighted to share an update on Kiba, previously known as Kawi. This 6-month-old bundle of joy has brought so much love and happiness into our lives.
We adopted Kiba three months ago, on the same day his previous adoptive family had to surrender him. Despite the sudden change, Kiba immediately trusted us, as if he knew he had found his forever home. Within a few days, he was already asking for belly rubs!
Kiba is incredibly social and gentle, especially with smaller dogs and his feline sister, Zoe. He takes careful steps to approach them, staying calm until they’re ready to engage, and then invites them to play.
He’s also very protective and loving. Kiba likes to guard us, sitting by the bathroom door when we’re inside and sleeping by our bedroom door at night.
His crate has become his happy place, where we serve him his meals and where he loves to relax and nap.
We are so grateful to Toronto Humane Society for bringing Kiba into our lives. He has truly become our son. Thank you again for everything!
