Poppy’s first week in her new home has been great! She eased into her new life like a queen. There are a lot of new smells and noises to get used to, but she’s handling it so well! A little overwhelmed with the space at first, she is slowly settling in, figuring out her favorite foods, and a couple of safe places to hide, and uses her voice to let me know she’s looking for me. We sleep together in my bed, always along my legs, meows and purrs asking for cuddles all night, and stretches her neck for more neck scratches. We’re still getting to know each other, but I couldn’t be happier with her! Her postpartum belly has also immensely improved as it’s starting to resorb itself back to normal. Her surgery stitches are healing well, too.
Thank you team for caring for her, and allowing her to find her forever home.
