We wanted to communicate just how thankful we are of the amazing job her foster home and mother did with her. We were pleasantly surprised at Reia’s temperament. She came to us as a very confident kitten who knew exactly where her litter box was 5 minutes into arriving at home. She cleans herself properly after eating and using the bathroom as well as a full bath before bed every night. She is an effective communicator who lets us know what she wants in a gentle manner. As our first cat, we had many anxieties, but they were calmed when we got to know her. We have one litter box in our bedroom and one in the bathroom. We just noticed that she has stopped pooping in the bedroom litter box and will only pee in there. We just had her first vet visit this week and the vet commented on how sweet she was as she didn’t hiss nor swat at her even when she was being poked and prodded at.
We just wanted to make sure her foster family knows what an amazing job they did with this kitten. We are looking forward to seeing her grow up. Attached is a photo we took of her the night we brought her home.
