After getting our first rabbit (Captain Carrots) about a year ago, we learned that rabbits do best with a bunny buddy. We wanted to get her a friend, and we also wanted to give a home to a rabbit in need.
In August, we visited Toronto Humane Society and fell in love with a beautiful mini rex rabbit named Billy. He has very distinctive black eye markings and super soft white fur! We brought him home and have since renamed him Shakespeare.
We knew it would take some time for the bunnies to bond, but with some patience and educating ourselves on the subject, we are happy to announce that the bunny bonding process was a success! Shakespeare and Captain Carrots love to eat together, groom each other, and cuddle.
Thank you Toronto Humane Society for everything you do, and for helping us find the perfect pet!
