How to Get a Copy of Your Tax Receipt

Thank you for your generous donation! Depending on how you gave, there are several ways to access your tax receipt.

Monthly Donations

Your consolidated annual receipt is issued at the end of January and sent by email or mail, based on your current preferences. 

If you: 

  • Can’t find your receipt in your inbox or junk/spam folder, or 
  • Have recently changed your mailing address and didn’t receive your mailed copy

Donations Made via Our Website

You can access your receipt through our Donor Portal: 

  • Enter your email address to receive a secure login link. 
  • Once logged in, your receipt will be available under “Recent Donations.” 

Donations Made by Mail, Phone, or In Person

We’re happy to resend a copy of your receipt.  Please contact Donor Relations at fundraising@torontohumanesociety.com or 416-392-2273 ext. 2162, and include: Your full name and contact information used at the time of your donation. 

Lottery Ticket Purchases

Please note that lottery ticket purchases are not eligible for charitable tax receipts, in accordance with CRA guidelines. 

Donations Made Through Other Platforms

If you donated through third-party platforms such as CanadaHelps or Benevity, your tax receipt is typically issued directly by that platform. Please contact them directly for assistance.
