Leo

| August 17, 2022

Leo was transported to Toronto Humane Society from another animal welfare organization.

Before Leo could be adopted, he needed dental work and neuter surgery. During his time at Toronto Humane Society, Leo developed diarrhea and testing revealed he had fish tapeworm. Leo was treated with medication, and the diarrhea and fish tapeworm issues were resolved.

As Leo comes from an area known for higher risk of heartworm, he will need a few follow-up visits with his regular vet over the next year to be sure he doesn’t test positive for it.

Leo has been adopted.
