Meet Tona! This little sweetie can be nervous when first approached and may need some time to get used to new surroundings. If you come by to see her you will see her curled up in the smallest ball imaginable. If you are a guy however you may get barked at. She can be a little bit more suspicious of men but will come around with some bribing.

Meet Kirby a little bird who has enjoyed a big adventure and is now ready to settle in a cozy home with a loving family. Kirby loves millet, toys and the radio. He would do well with a family who can keep his mind nice and sharp and his body healthy.

Look at this handsome face ! How could you not fall in love with Smudge? Our Volunteers say he is a real gentleman and loves any and all interaction that he receives. Smudge also likes to have company when he eats, so if you are looking for a dinner companion to share your time with, come and ask about Smudge at our Adoption Office

Jasper is a slow build when it comes to introductions. He prefers to ease into new situations in small doses, and then make an early exit. Short visits are his specialty. He is looking for an experienced, patient adopter who will let him grow at his own gentle pace. Please talk to an adoption agent today if you're interested in adopting!

Jenny Jumper is in the building and she cannot wait to find her new best friend! Jenny is a young lady with lots of energy and zest. She also loves her greens and is quick to run over and say hello to anyone who notices how beautiful she truly is. She would like a large pen and a family to call her very own.

CJ is a stunning cat with eyes that will pierce your soul. This shy fellow may be wearing his tuxedo, but he is not quite ready for a night out on the town. This reserved fellow responds well to kind words and chin scratches, but a loud noise or sudden movement might send him retreating.

Rosie is a sweet and gentle girl who despite her nervousness loves gentle pets. She follows her nose everywhere and enjoys her afternoon walks. Rosie seems well-mannered but distant with other dogs. She's not really interested in the rough and tumble dog park. Rosie would likely do well in an apartment who is prepared for the occasional hound-like bay.

The Ben Krieger Memorial Fund and Golf Tournament

The 4th annual Ben Krieger Memorial Golf Tournament benefitting the Toronto Humane Society will be taking place on Sunday, September 10th 2017 at the Westview Golf Club in Aurora Ontario.

Giving Tuesday, which takes place on November 28th 2017, is described
as the "opening day of the Giving Season". It's a day for us to kick
off our Hope for the Holidays campaign here at the shelter! this campaign
raises funds and awareness for the animals in our shelter.

On SATURDAY, February 24, 2017 we will be having our Cupcake Day! Join us at the shelter (from 10am until we close or sell out of cupcakes) for some tasty treats for you and/or your 4 - legged pal!

Butch is a chipper young pup with a heart of gold and an unbridled excitement for everything and everyone! He loves exploring on his walks and learning about all the fascinating things there are to see, from the big thunderous snow plow to the captivating bag flowing in the wind!

Lazy weekend advocate and celebrated nap queen, Luna is a sweetie pie who thrives in quiet, calm environments where it’s just her and her favourite cuddle mates. She’s always down for movie night, and will never say no to a treat or a long brush session!
